ABOUT

The Guglielmo (pronounced gool-yell-mo) Family Winery was established in the Santa Clara Valley in 1925, by Emilio and Emilia Guglielmo.  They were wine pioneers from the Piedmonte region of Italy and brought their winemaking craft, skills and warm Italian Heritage to their new home.  The 3rd Guglielmo generation, George, Gene and Gary are today continuing their family tradition of fine wine-making with their 80 acre vineyard in Morgan Hill.
 
Over time, the family has thoughtfully re-designated a portion of their vineyards into an exclusive and expansive outdoor area called the Villa Emile Event Center. This 5,000 square foot venue is covered by a beautiful, white canopy that offers both shade and elegant lighting for events from 50 to 300 guests.  This event space which was originally the family’s garden plot, has been successfully transformed into a spacious hard-scape event area with a large stage, flowerbeds and a generous dance floor. These areas are encircled by breath-taking views of the vineyard and hillsides.  The Villa Emile Event Center provides the perfect setting for a wide array of special events.
 
At the entrance to the Villa Emile Event Center, the old family kitchen and the barbeque space has been converted into a catering kitchen, granite wine bar and courtyard reception area called the Vintage Cobblestone Courtyard. This courtyard warmly welcomes you and your guests with its quaint patio, lush vineyard views, and grapevine arbor planted by Emilio over 85 years ago.
 
Our winery also offers a unique and stunning indoor event area, the Heritage Room.  Originally built as a barn in the 1930’s, it was later converted into a charming space for smaller events.  The rustic, quaintness of the Heritage Room is ideal for a wedding ceremony, a company team-building day, a baby shower, a fabulous five-course wine-paired dinner or any intimate celebration.
