cascading floral runner in white and greenery

From the moment they got engaged, Lauren and Steve were focused on a destination wedding. With Lauren's family being from Massachusetts and Steve's from New Jersey, at least half the guests would have to travel no matter what, so why not find a locale that captured their personalities and passions and felt completely different from their east coast homes. The ultimate desire was a place where family and friends from both sides could get lost in the celebration, enjoying their time together as if it was one big family vacation.

As it does for so many romantics at heart, the California wine country with its beautiful landscape of golden hills and endless vineyards, won the vote.  Once the geography was determined, the next step was the venue, and oh what a venue they found! The Glass House Vineyard in Sonoma was perfect! Sharp lines and industrial materials contrasting with lush vines and olive trees, created a one of a kind backdrop. To ensure every detail and stage of the ceremony and reception were perfection, Lauren and Steve enlisted the services of A Savvy Event. For the lush and gorgeous florals they selected one of the bay area's leading floral companies, Nancy Liu Chin Designs. For the full wine country experience, they delighted guests with the creative farm-to-table culinary flair of The Girl & The Fig Caterers.  [Complete list of wedding professionals provided at end of post.]
