There is something revitalizing about fresh flowers and organic food straight from the farm, and the town of Sonoma, located in the heart of Northern California's Wine Country, offers a bounty of freshness and inspiration. The idea for Farm to Table came after a visit to 5th Street Farms, where the creative minds of A Savvy Event were inspired to do create an entire wedding concept, based on Sonoma's local farm to table movement. The General's Daughter's West Patio, with its gorgeous lattice covered patio with a giant redwood tree, was the obvious choice to showcase this inspired shoot of colorful, fresh fruit and vegetable-laden tables.
In lieu of a traditional table runner, designers Meren and Brittany, embellished a polished wood, picnic style table with a faux runner of fresh flowers, votives, and vibrant vegetables. Loop Floral Design did a fantastic job bringing the vision to life, and the whimsical paper designs from Forever Heyday, added the finishing touch with escort cards-pinned to brown paper bad filled with mini-apples and delightful menu cards.
